My favorite Summer Treat!

As I get more into this blogging thing, I plan on dedicating a few entries to my weight loss journey and where I started to where I am now. I want to give tips and suggestions because for me, it's not a diet...it was a conscious decision to change my eating habits and become more active. One thing I feel like sharing today is my favorite dessert, especially in the summer heat. I am always looking for new products that are healthier and still taste good. This product definitely does that!

This is CLEMMY'S Ice Cream. It is sugar-free and still tastes just like vanilla ice cream! a 1/2 cup serving is 160 calories, but I am completely satisfied with 1/4 cup at 80 calories. It just hits the spot. Unfortunately I have only tried the vanilla bean because the store I work at only sells vanilla bean and coffee. I am on a mission to find and try some of their other products! Two of my favorite ways to eat this yummy treat is to take a scoop of peanut butter and mix it with the ice cream for an added yummyness or I'll take a cookie and crumble it over the ice cream. This really satisfies my sweet tooth and I don't feel like I need to run a mile to rid myself of the guilt of eating ice cream (oh no!) :).

One of the most important things I've learned through this change...is SERVING size, which I will definitely get into more in future entries. I never realized how satisfied I could feel after just a serving (I was one of those...four scoops minimum kind of girls), but I really do. I also make sure to wait to eat my treat until after my meal. This is why most of the time, 1/4 cup is filling enough to hit the spot.

I am in no way promoting or trying to "sell" this product. I just know that for me, finding a sweet treat that was healthy and not filled with tons of sugar and added stuff, but that still satisfied me and tasted yummy (I was in honest shock after my first bite!) was really important. I feel like this ice cream does it. They do have other flavors and novelty bars and such, but I have not had the pleasure of trying those yet. Their website gives information about their products and where they can be purchased, in case you are curious to try! :) Clemmy's!!!   <-----Click to go see!

Now I'm out of here....going to go enjoy a little ice cream myself! If any of you readers have tried or do try any of the other products, let me know how they taste! Until next time readers!!

                                                                                                      YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
